One of our work colleagues Father passed away on the weekend,
as soon as the outpatients for Relief of pain were finished
we headed off to see the family and pay our respects.

The  Hospital van didn't  show up to transport us, so we hopped onto two trucks .

we all gathered together on the road , the Dental and the  ENT clinic, with gifts of rice, vatu. mats                                                  and a flower wreath, and paid our respects to our colleagues father and                                                             family,  giving prayers and speeches to the family.

Tuesday was World Oral Health Day, down town at the market place
Tents were erected and PCV Health and VCH Hospital joined together to run an awareness campaign
offering Free Dental checks, Oral hygiene instructions,  Helti Kakae talks.

Gloria and two dentists arrived to help with the afternoon screening,  as we were seeing the
outpatients up in the Hospital in the morning who arrive as early as 6am.

with students eager to look and try some reading skills

Some tried  puzzles of word building,  and they set up the farm animals to watch,
so they could learn too .
