This week we have been working on getting
new smart meters to replace the old meters at Jensen Accommodation.
The new meters are to get tenants to  "pay before you use"
No big power bills for PCV office .

Hanging on the clothes line, is a notice of the water being turned off.
No house letter boxes here except only at the Post Office
A clothes line is a great place to put the notice
What do you think!!!

The mission team from Tauranga brought some black board paint
for Napagasale schools as they saw an URGENT need
when they visited the school last week .
"Its on its way guys thanks"

Im away to Malakula on Tuesday 1st May and return Friday afternoon
I am looking at the damage Cyclone Hula caused
to a Church School and 5 other Churches in the North
so I will be landing at Norsup if you're able to see it on the map

Gloria & I had a trip to Santo Island to Talua
I had to check that all the materials had been
delivered to Talua and that the project would have
no problems

Here is the project up in Talua
it is to re Roof this dinning hall

Because they live so close to the coast line the sea
breeze causes the roofs to rust

also the cyclones tend to rip of weak and rusty
sheets of the iron

I was short of a few roofing materials to completed this project
so it was good that we went to Talua

This is the cook house next to the dinning hall
in Talua

While in Santo we visited Tata School
sometimes mission teams come from NZ and visit
this High School

This is a tractor at Nova Farm

BAD TENANTS for PCV

Here we are back in Twin Cain's Unit 2
a person from overseas has been here
from November 2017 and hasn't paid any rent
and has made this huge mess
and then he did a runner !!!

The cooker

A meeting was held with us and some PCV staff last night ,to discuss the issues.
So it was an early start this morning for Leinangis and Gloria
to start the big clean up.

Gloria had done some painting'' training '' with Leinangis in 2016, so it was
time to put those skills into practice again.

                                                       ''Finding your Gifts and Talents''
She is a really good painter, and also loves to do this.

Getting ready to roll the floors

Finished the bathroom  "NAMBAWAN"

Then it was time to attack the kitchen..... which is now looking good.

Yowell the builder, who works with Neville was dropped off, to do some repairs inside.

A quick ride to cool off, and buy some lunch, then it was back to finish off the unit.

A great team effort 😁
Ready for  ''NEW TENANTS''.
