The guys are preparing the foundation for
the new toilet block up at Etas school.
The toilet will be a long drop type of toilet, as their is no
water available in Etas to have the flush type
toilet, also leaves may be used as paper.
Here is a photo of the materials that the Hibiscus team have been waiting for.
The team arrive's next month (Sept) from the
Hibiscus Coast in Auckland to do this project.
It will be good to see all these materials
being put up, and the toilet block completed.
The sand for the foundations.
This is a photo of what Mr Kim (our neighbour) has been building,
miles out in the bush on Efate Island.
It's a Church building for the community.
The community are vey excited about this building,
which will be used as a kindy class ( Monday - Friday's).
We had a builder come from Dunedin, to help his
friend to build the family house, in a suburb of
Fresh water, Thanks Campbell.
The house wasn't completed when he returned home
today, after being here working on it for 2 weeks
but it will get completed!!
Their are a few walls still to be lined, but
this will get done in time.
Here are some water containers up at Etas area, waiting to get filled
as we enter the dry season.
Travelling Light
Kate arrived from Blenheim today, and is going to Santo tonight.
