Gloria and Dawn have returned from Santo,
There travels took them to many villages to meet up with the RSE workers who come to Blenheim.
Dawn looks after some of the men now, and we were Pastrol care to them, for many years.
It was great to met up with their families.
12 of us set off over 4 days visiting different villages
We travelled many miles by truck.
It was great to stop off and always find MANGO's
for refreshments
Here we arrived at Tasiriki Village West Santo, where the Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu held the General Assembly in August.
Home to a few of the men we have looked after
Here on the Beach we found James's Boat and saw the nice house he had built .
This is what is left of the large building, which was the meeting hall for the Assembly.
After the Assembly, the roof and sides were sold.
Here are some of the painted tops and skirts we had designed, and we gave them to the children in the village.
We were hosted in a village called Namuru South Santo, in the bush, located 20 minutes after we passed Talua Ministry Training Centre. Living with a local family, as family.
Gloria shared a bed with Lucy, a 7 year old, and Dawn, in a local village house.
It was an honor and priviledge to experience this and we were well looked after.
I caught this fish using Banana as bait
