Yesterday was Vanuatu Independence day
30 July and a large crowd came to Independence Park
in central Port Vila to celebrate.
a lolly scramble is still allowed here
and done in style by helicopter
The PWMU women had their container open and doing a
roaring trade with coffee & cakes
These banana's are about 1200vt a bunch = $16 NZD
we caught up with Isobel
she came to Blenheim as a RSE worker
The celebrations went on into the night
