Neville & Gloria Jones on Mission in Vanuatu

Gloria spent this week Full time at VCH helping at the Dental clinic.

There were a few challenges with the  equipment, and the power and water been cut off with no notifications  

Every morning 35 plus patients attend the outpatient clinic

 in the hope of getting an appointment.

We had lots of interesting cases this week 

This we chap tried really really hard, but didn't get the extraction he needed 

As he couldn't do the injection  {stick em u}

                                          So close, so we will try again next week.

                                  This was his wee brother 3 years old sitting on my knee,
                                                    trying  to encourage him to DO IT .

Happy and excited  

Patient was wired up 6 weeks ago in theatre admitted with a broken jaw 

It was a relief to have these removed 

He lost 12 kgs as he was unable to open his mouth, and could only drink thru a straw.
