Wednesday 4 April 2018

The PCVEA Librarian course finished on Tuesday.
We are excited to have a Librarian qualify and  take up the appointment at the Seaside School.

Today Gloria cleaned up the Library as, '' First Impressions ''are important, and
she met  with the new Librarian this afternoon.

This is Margaret who retired last year as a teacher from Pentecost.
She liked the look of the Library, and was very happy and thankful,
and Gloria  looks forward to working with her this year.

Gloria got to spend time with some of her past students,
who were excited to come to class and read
                                                            and share stories with her.

A year 7 class had booked the library for research  so was great to see.

So we moved next door to carry on the class
and Donavan, now year 6, was excited,  when he recognised a Fish mural
he did in year 4 in Gloria's class in 2016.

Malasitabu students are happy to learn about making gardens, and
growing vegetables, their seedlings are doing well

                                                           A broken arm  ''feeling anxious''
Russell and his mum came to see Gloria for some prayer
before going to theatre to have an operation on his arm to remove a metal plate,
This picture helped him BE STRONG ...
